About the OutsideWorld

The outside world is committed to random acts of art in whatever form they take. This site was initially thrown up very quickly to provide some information for the Portland Protest Protest, which began on April 18th 2003 and ran very successfully for 6 months. Since then it's been largely taken over by a comic about my real life as a cartoon rabbit. What follows is an incomplete list of caracters.

Andrew

A dashingly handsome, polyglot, world traveling rabbit. Somehow this comic always seems to revolve around him in some way.
comic selection:
We do not say the "zed" word.
The Drunkening

Shanti

For some reason he always wears a hat. Shanti speaks Spanish, likes travel and warm weather. A very private rabbit much of his life is shrowded in a purpose built mystery.
comic selection:
On the origins of the universe...
The amazing foldable Shanti #1
The amazing foldable Shanti #2

Jon

Jon wears a suit.
comic selection:
Rabbits in the wild

Owen

Owen can brew his own beer. And once made a hat. He hasn't been in the comic much lately because he doesn't ever fucking write me. He has a nice "lady friend" named Ali who has huge tracts of land.
comic selection:
Owen
Owen's Going Away Party #2

George

George is a drunk. But not just any drunk, one of the original members of the famous "Drink Club." He has a custom tailored panda suit which scares the holey bejesus out of small children. He was also once famously the subject of a Curious George book.
comic selection:
Harem
Panda Panda Panda

For more about Outsideworld the Comic, try flipping through the comic archive. For questions or corrections see this comic and if that doesn't answer your question contact me at feedback at outsideworld dot org.

OutsideWorld was created and edited on open source software. All graphics were edited with the Gimp. LETTEROMATIC is the comic font used on all but some very early comcis and those that were (poorly) hand lettered. LETTEROMATIC is copyright Nate Piekos. Basic site design was done by hand in KEdit, then Mousepad, then gedit. I wouldn't recomend any of them. Suggestions for the site design or content are very welcome.
